Stumbling across Jerry Williams on instagram in January last year, I was instantly obsessed with her music when I searched her on Spotify. Fresh lyrics with very sunshine vibe to her work, I knew she had to be the cover star of NinetyFour magazine's second issue.
I first phoned Jerry's manager who agreed to be a part of the project and invited us to a local gig that she was performing. Setting a date in stone, I then researched photographers and connected with Watford based photographer, Ryan Alsford. I also sourced a photography assistant for the day, Ruth Brittain, a graphic design student.
As NinetyFour works with a lot of small fashion brands I sourced clothes and accessories for Jerry to wear which included independent brands such as; Studio Five, Kennedy Designs, Limpet Store, Pink Pickle and Cotton Crowd. Jerry is also a Topshop and Epiphone ambassador which were also involved with the shoot. I had a clear vision of what I wanted the shoot to be and working with Ryan we brought it to life.
